What Your Neighbors Are Saying About Us

Selena G.
★★★★★
I really appreciated the friendly communication and willingness to go the extra mile. They called to let me know about something they ran into and waited for my permission to continue as it would take a little more time/$ than they had estimated. Very happy with the results and would not hesitate to recommend.

★★★★★
Tim from Lynden Sheet Metal was professional, personable and quick to work with the problems in our apartment that needed an immediate solution. LSM booked us an appointment quickly and Tim had our leaks and replacement parts installed efficiently! Now we have a working apartment! Thanks so so much! Highly recommend their services.

The tech arrived right on time. She was efficient and diagnosed the filter issue immediately. She walked me through some maintenance steps I was not aware of, so I can avoid future problems. After that she performed an inspection and gave the system a clean bill of health. A great visit.

From Lynden Sheet Metal to LSM Heating, Plumbing, Electric

Our roots go back to Lynden Sheet Metal, a name many longtime neighbors still remember. That business built its reputation on quality metal fabrication and honest work in this community. Over the years, we grew to offer heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical services, and LSM Heating, Plumbing, Electric was born to reflect all the ways we now serve local homes and businesses.

The name changed, but the people and the promise behind the work did not. We still bring the same craftsmanship and straightforward approach to every job, whether it is a furnace repair or a custom metal fabrication project. It is one more reason generations of families across Whatcom, Skagit, and Snohomish counties have trusted us with their homes.

Why is my heat pump blowing cool air in winter?

This is usually normal. Heat pumps enter defrost mode periodically to clear ice from the outdoor unit, and the air can feel cool for a few minutes while that happens. If the air stays cold for more than 10 to 15 minutes, give us a call.

What is that rotten egg smell near my water heater?

Two very different causes share this smell. Sometimes it is harmless bacteria inside the tank. Other times it signals a gas leak, which needs immediate attention. If you smell gas anywhere near your water heater, leave the area and call us right away.

Do I really need an electrical panel upgrade for a heat pump?

Not always. Many homes handle a heat pump on the existing panel just fine. A quick look at your panel by one of our licensed electricians is usually enough to tell whether an upgrade is needed.

How often should I have my furnace or heat pump serviced?

Once a year, ideally before the season you rely on it most. A seasonal tune up catches small issues before they turn into a no heat call.

Why does my water pressure drop when more than one faucet is running?

This usually points to a supply line, a pressure regulator, or buildup somewhere in the plumbing system. It is worth having a technician take a look, since the fix is often simpler than homeowners expect.
